Boot Camp is Over.

Final boot camp session with Chris Montoya: was a make up session since so many people missed Monday.  I bettered my numbers in everything except burpees. 

I'm going to miss it, actually.  I won't miss the getting up at 5AM part, but it was a good addition to the weekly workout variety and definitely made a difference in how I felt the rest of the day.  Chris has a follow-on program, but I don't think the office (Val, specifically) is going to pick up the tab again.

I chose not to do the intervals workout on the treadmill later since Joan and the kids were getting home and I wanted to be there.  Not seeing Bailey for 3 weeks made getting home a priority.  And then I had someone coming over to look at the Flexa loft bed I have on Craigslist, cutting into my late afternoon plan of doing 880 repeats around the park course (though the heat was stifling me too).  Next thing I know, it's dinner time.  Never ran. 

That's okay, though.  I don't normally run Mondays or Tuesdays, but I did this week.  Wednesday just became my no run day this week.  I'll do my speed work tomorrow or Friday.  (I'm going in for jury duty tomorrow.)

The energy level I enjoyed on Tuesday has worn off.  I'm not run down.  Just back to normal.  Which I could figure out what made Tuesday so special and bottle it.
