My back is still bugging me, but I'm 99% certain I just over-taxed it Saturday morning with the lifts, and I just need to take care of it and work in the future on my core more.

I'm also starting to lay down a germ of a plan for run training.  I've got to decide how to mesh the 5K improvement goal with the marathon training.  I may be close enough to my 21-minute 5K goal that it might not take much to get over the hump in a few weeks.  If I just take the next 3 weeks and focus on shorter distance speed and strength, the September 11th 5K at Lake Miramar would be a perfect goal race for that.

If I'm able to hit that mark, I could then transition smoothly to the marathon training.  At that point, I'll be 19 weeks out from Carlsbad.
