Played racket ball with Robert C. and then went for 3.1 miles on the treadmill. Kept it nice and easy. Tried running barefoot, which probably garnered a few stares, though I didn't notice. I got a little bit of a hot spot on the pad just behind the "index" toe...not a blister, but felt like the makings of one had I continued. I think that came from the friction through the belt running over the surface below it? I don't know, but other than that the barefoot running felt good.
I'm going to push the mileage back up into the 10-mile range again today, though not at the tempo pace of Tuesday's workout. I'm hoping to join up with some runners from the Rock...meet some new people and try to get some pacing practice. We'll see how that goes.
