This video got me to thinking about an idea for recording some video of me running.
So, I strapped a camera onto Quin's bike and had him follow me for a few minutes along the Lake Miramar trail. I figured I'd slow the footage down a little, add the Air music and combine them to see what the possibilities are.
Quin's riding is not very stable and steady, so the first improvement would be to find him a 3 or 4 wheel vehicle to ride along on...unless I can figure out a way to teach him to ride slowly and not swerve.
I also would need to get better A/V editing software. All I did here was sync up the Quicktime movie and the audio track, and then record to the window with the audio. Not very high tech. Plus, the trial version of the video capture application is limited to 2 minutes recording length. I'd need more time. And I'd like to be able to edit both sound and video to be able to adjust the sync, do fades and lay the audio down over the video.
Proof of concept:
YouTube will probably catch up with it and yank the audio track since I don't own the rights.
I was thinking that a run along the Mission Beach boardwalk, in slow motion, would be kind of cool.
